We treat barriers the same way El Chapo dealt with border crossings. A fuck you to the established industry and culture. To the playlists and algorithms. We are here to create chaos, destroy perceptions and free attitudes. Find the best in you at your worst and put a middle finger up to the cyborg that is the world.

Expect sweat, rage and filth. A show that has no regards for public opinion. With fast punching lyrics, gritty and muddy ambience the APES are here to invite you to a revolution! In both their Semi-Acoustic format or fully brain melting glory ABE'S APES will deliver. Welcome to a place where nothing matters. So leave your day clothes at home and come drink with us or fuck you, if you don't!

Six Bandit knows a couple of chords, on his old acoustic guitar and made intricate productions on a £200 laptop using Garageband... We created a sub genre that caters to our lack of focus and channelled our whole hearts and anger into our music... We talk about any subject that can demonatize us openly and invite you to our show at your own peril...That in my eyes is Punk AF... does it bother gatekeepers? Hopefully!

Abe's Apes has been Six Bandit's side project since 2009 where he experimented with different sounds, ideas and freely applied his seamless imagination to simple musical passions and accommodate his severe ADHD. Throughout the years Abe's Apes has had several artists as co creators like French producer 7Sense, multi instrumentalist Zeto Mackenzie and producer Mike Daupias.

In early 2020 Mike Daupias left the project to focus on his new born son and Six Bandit was on the lookout for another Ape, right before the first lockdown (I know great timing). He met Alexandra Taylor through a video she posted on her FB page. This was the first video she ever recorded. A simple acoustic video, shot with a phone. But it sounded perfect.

Throughout the years Six Bandit had worked with Hip Hop, Reggae, Grunge and Folk projects and always included some of its flares into earlier Abe's Apes songs. He saw Ali as the perfect voice and most importantly she understood the vision he had for Abe's Apes. It became their vision and she became the newest member to join the Apes.

But it was the first time the Apes had 2 song writers and singers and no instrumentalists or producers. The next two years saw Six Bandit learning how to play instruments, produce, and together with Ali, write new songs, create music videos and an irreverent and original online presence, with a solid and loyal following. It was during this process that the Apes discovered how to turn this new mix of genres into something characteristic and recognisable but also extremely fresh and captivating.

As Abe's Apes, the duo pioneered not only a unique sound and a complementary aesthetic but also an elaborate, upbeat and interactive show. Both in its full form or acoustic version. Thought provoking, original and unique, meticulously crafted while liberated from set norms or rules.  Musics first fine art name. Capturing audiences by making them fall in love rather than simply getting a following.

What is the next step for Abe's Apes? Time will tell, but their work ethic, abundance of new, fresh releases, special online content and a memorable show, allied with the pursuit to always improve and grow the project as the bottom line will certainly put Abrahams little Apes on the map.
